A friend of mine stopped in Ibiza on a delivery from Sunseekers in Poole to Nice. They charged £120 to moor
overnight on the fuel pontoon not even any shore power. Most other Marinas up to Costa Del Sol were
around £25-30. Boat was a 64 Manhattan.

Thats about the price! They wanted €125 a night in Ibiza nueva, plus lecky plus water plus light dues? and water tax? they don't collect light dues and water tax if you anchor there, so it's just another marina type rip off, they may of course have to pay this to the government as it's easy to collar marina dwellers. I was tied stern on to the quay, rolling my guts out when ships moved or you would get reflected wswell off all the other quays, bloody awful, no security and devinos' night club on your doorstep, literally! I had to leave the boat there for 14 days, whilst I went to work, painful! The mainland marinas, between malaga and gibraltar are also horrendously expensive in the season and full! All the marinas are a touch expensive now in season. Thats not to say You wont find some cheap berths! But, few and far between, I'm anchoring! (now the windlass is fixed!)
