Late Season Cruise

Great video, really enjoyed it,thanks for posting. Newbie question but what make/model is she?

She is a Princess 67.
We have owned her since new.
In the years before we bought her, we always ended up at the boat shows on one - never believing that we would eventually own one.
No regrets but all boats are hard work to keep in tip top condition.
Being retired, I usually spend most of the summer on her - and as I said on the first post, this year we spent July and August based in the marina at Sant Carles.

Most of our cruising is a mixture of Pootling (10 knots) and Planing (25 knots).
This has the effect of extending our range significantly.
That trip in the video was 555nm from Sant Carles to Sant Carles
We started with full tanks but only refuelled once (Santa Ponca) and never went below third full.

Yes, most of the marinas have fuel but using the pootling/planing concept, we don't need to worry about refuelling on cruises like this.

With such beautiful views it makes sense to slow down and take it all in, reasonable on fuel too.

Hope I make it to the Med one day, even if it's only a few years.
