A number of people answred and we all discussed various aspects ....

The project is moving on and I have tried contacting again the applicants ..... no replies .... OK - so some may have changed minds .... no problem and to be expected.

The proposed is to sail my heavy 25ft Motor Sailer from Solent to Baltic sometime this year hopefully - once a few small minor items are replaced / fixed .... there is no cost to crew - except of course shared living expenses and flight home .... Ryanair / Easyjet is now out here - so thats real cheap ...... Of course please provide your own water-proofs / sleeping bag etc.
I need 1 experienced person and the other making the required total of 3 - incl. myself - can be a novice or lesser experienced. The only discrimination I will make is that please I do not want anyone prone to being sea-sick !!! That puts unfair load on others ...

So anyone with a sense of adventure, not afraid to step out of the hum-drum .... here's an opportunity to do something that will be worthy of putting in your diary .....

I suggest a PM to me ??

Unclear time frame at moment

I was hoping to do it late spring - early summer to gain benefit of weather .... but it will drop back later due to work .... even to 2006 if I'm not careful.

I estimate 2 - 3 weeks as I intend to hop ports in 24 - 36 hr legs ..... Many have advised that German Bight should be avoided .... haven't decided - that is down to agreed between crew and I and weather on route ...... possible Kiel, possible over top of Denamrk and thru islands ..... eventual destination - Ventspils Latvia or Tallinn Estonia ........ as I have posibility in both ....
