They are checking the sea bed cable that run between Cowes and Newtown at the moment.

Rain has been so heavey vis has been as bad as fog, heres more coming in. So glad covers were up.

But then you get a sunset like this, was worth it.

Such a shame.

As far as I know , the first Wreck marks in the Solent.

As far as I know , the first Wreck marks in the Solent.

I took a photo of that yesterday too, went up for a little nose.

It is actually the first wreck marker I've ever seen in real life, solent or otherwise. Didn't see them at night, do they flash together like they are supposed to?

but came across some near Torquay and they flashed in unison blue and yellow.

I checked one of those a few years ago....with my anchor, it was fine.... but quite heavy
