I am wanting a small laminate faced, balanced and edged panel making up as part of an alteration to my navigation panel. It is approximately 375 x 325 x 15mm with an aperture for an Axiom display (ideally cut with a CNC). It should be within the capabilities of any decent joinery company but I am having a devil of job finding a firm that will do it. I am not sure whether they are too busy or it is just too small an order for them to bother with. Can anybody recommend a firm that does small bespoke items like this?

I suspect you are finding that they are all too busy, finding any tradesmen at the moment is near impossible

You could try an engraver/signmaker. They usually have CNC facilities for small items and will have a selection of materials. 15mm might be a bit thick to do in one but it could be made in layers and stuck together..

That’s may be a possibility. ….?. Thanks.

I had an adapter panel made out of 5mm perspex (matt black) for a new Raymarine plotter. I used Trent Plastics who advertise on eBay. I sent then a diagram which they laser cut to and bevelled the outside edges. Cost was about £20 but smaller panel than yours. I got several similar quotes - most of the sellers of plastics on eBay seem to do bespoke if contacted.
