Looks like I have a gig on Lake Como. What's it like? Apart from being the home of George Clooney!

"What's it like?".........everything it says on the pack, stunning, picture perfect scenery and a fabulous waterway. Roadways close in to the lake itself are extremely narrow as you would expect in areas many centuries old.
Of course our resident expert MM will be able to answer more specific questions.

Fwiw, when Richard Hammond drove an Alfa 4C around its roads, he called it "one of the most beautiful places on Earth".
Otoh, you might argue that he also likes Porkers and Corvettes, so what does he know...?
Therefore, I'll rather put it this way, D: beyond any reasonable doubts, there are worse places on Earth where to have a gig.

Getting more information now. The boat is a Bimax 50 with twin 800 MANs. It will be moored at Alto Lario Marine Centre Colico. Pictures of the marina look stunning. The timing is slipping a bit at the moment though.
