Hello every one

We are the owners of 60 ft feadship from 1959 , previous owners had leaks from deck so they covered it with fiber and placed deck on top of it, this caused lots of problems , and now we took every thing off and of course We need to replace the deck plate,
We have a problem as we don't have the right element that will resemble the gunwale (it was a moon shape around d 6 cm wide and it was around 3 cm out of the body so it gave some extra place for water to drip .

AS WEDONT HAVE THIS element here to buy , and we are bit short of time and money to make one ( we thought of cutting a pipe ) i was wondering how to go around it , if anyone has an idea

Thank you ,
Peace on all

Welcome to the Forum Tiky.

Feadship are saying that Tiky was built in 1961, and she is now called Alto V, or are you changing the name back to Tiky?
Tiky

This advert says that Tiky completed a major 8 year refit in 2014 - re your photos above, has she deteriorated so much in the last 10 years, or are the photos of another similar vessel?

Did you have a full ultrasound survey carried out on the steel work (where accessible) before you bought her?

Re replacing your gunwhale, Google found AALCO in the UK who supply stainless steel pipe sections - if you scroll down to page 22 in this link, they appear to have a section that is 60 x 30 x 3 mm wall thickness.
