we are off the Kyrenia in cyprus next week and wonderd if anyone from the forum will be there or any recommendations.

I wish.

We had a great holiday in N Cyprus a few years ago, and loved it. Peaceful, quiet, and fantastic weather, although we went in July. 48C!!!

Kyrenia was the busiest town IIRC. Small harbour, and there are boat trips, although they may not run at this time of year.

There is a bit of marine conservation, with turtles being studied and protected. We launched a few babies from our villa which was about 10km north of Famagusta.

Windsurfing was good too. A welcome relief to flop into the water.
