I wonder if they have been run-down too?

It's a shame, before the Brightlingsea one was run down the food was in another league compared to the standard Westernised all-sauces-from-one-base fayre on offer from the majority of Indian restaurants in the country.

We were in the Yachtsmans last night (pub next door) customers were buying drink and taking it to the Indian. Still a good Indian in Tower Street.........however Brightlingsea does not offer many good places, we like the food at the Yachtsmans and also eat at the Colne Yacht club.

Ate there (Kovalam) 2 weeks ago. Food still v good and the menu still unlike most other indian restaurants. Coy about the alcohol thing though...
