Kos Marina for Crew changes

I think what you say is the conclusion we have come to!

We will try it on a sunday night in june if they book us in in advance. However the favourite is to use kalymnos and ferry to Mastahari and to the airport
 
The marineros at Kos marina also have a further trick. We had booked a berth for 3 nights to pick a friend up and explore the island. Fortunately we had also visited the office on passing through to go home from Leros. When we arrived in the boat the guy on the marina rib told us there were no berths available and that he would put us on the outside wall alongside. Don't them do this to you as the marina charges DOUBLE for an alongside berth. When we replied we knew about the pricing he gav up and found us a berth with a lazy line for the normal price!!!!

I've just been trying to arrange a pre-booked berth with Kos Marina - for mid September.

Lots of demands - most of which are not entirely unreasonable - except the one, the demand for full payment in advance (5 months in this case).
I've told them that I feel their demand is, in my opinion, entirely unreasonable - so we'll wait and see.

I've no desire to end up as an unsecured creditor.

However, I have to say I've had immediate and prompt response by e-mail from them. Incidentally they've scrubbed the CA discount.

I have had this with them before (100% up front) I told them that was on a insecure internet connection and would pay on arrival and they said fine.
