Hi there folks.
Great to be back on line as I have a question for you all. As per the title I am looking to buy a very simple shaped and lightweight lug sail for my old lifeboat.
Dimensions are 3 metres long at top (with eyes at 300mm centres to lash it to the spar) 3 metres deep - 4.5 metres long at the foot - top/foot asymetrical with offset of 500mm - reinforced eyes at the two bottom corners.
"Can't be that difficult!" do I hear you say? I've made about 15 enquiries to sail makers via the net and asked for quotes but NOT ONE has bothered to reply!! (Let them be warned - I know who they are and when I win the lottery I definitely won't be approaching them for my sails.)
Can any of you help?
