There have been a number of questions along the lines of "what kit should I fit for long distance cruising?" What follows is not statistically significant but for interest only.
We were parked off Bonaire and, unusually, surrounded by European long distance cruising boats (rather than Americans most of whom day-sail to the Caribbean). There were six boats (including us) all between 38 and 42 feet: 2 Dutch; 1 Norwegian; 1 Swedish; 1 Belgian; 1 UK.
Above decks kit (out of six) was: SSB radio 5; Windvane 5; Radar 5; Wind generator 6; Solar panels 4.
Nothing like te ARC survey and unfortunately I didn't get the chance to ask about below decks kit.
