I was in the Kings Head on Wednesday last week, I hear reports that its closed due to a licensing issue?

We were there Thursday to Sunday and I am sure when walked passed it on Saturday night there were people in there. But then we might have been distracted by the Hen party that wasn't allowed in to Saltys

Yes Kings head was closed on Thursday and friday but it was open on saturday and sunday as we had few pints and there was a notice on the window to say about there license when it was closed.

In which case I'll have a pint of Landlord , a bag of dry roasted nuts, the liver and bacon, well done, with chips not new pots, Mrs BB will have a pint of blackcurrent and soda, the chicken salad with no anchovies.

Not surprise the service and attitude of the staff was shyte last time we were there, had a pint of cider that was flat and asked for another to be told it was flat cider, muppet behind the bar.

I've always though the Wheatsheaf to be a well run pub. No matter how busy they get during Old Gaffers they still keep their heads on and serve good pub food. Staff are friendly so it bodes well.

It is great news for Yarmouth. Issues of cleanliness in The Kings head will be no more, Shaun keeps his kitchens immaculately. Sincerely wish him well.

Thought I recognised him, we were in there last weekend. Fantastic hog roast as the kitchens were not yet ready.
