Killcords, I wonder.

Went to Southport today and saw this. I wonder if they fit killcords (or have shielded props).

Yep, when I've seen these on TV I thought 'accident waiting to happen', especially as these things do not exactly encourage sensible use by clued up boat owners !

Naturally no buoyancy aids either...

The water's about knee deep, in what amounts to a concrete paddling pool with dozens of other people in and around it. I'm all for buoyancy aids in tenders going out to yachts, but in this situation it would really just be political correctness.
