Mine is faulty.

It makes the outboard unreliable in starting.
To get rid of it's effect do I need to have it "made" (the wires @ the back connected) or "off" with the wires separate?

Before anyone suggest getting a new one could they tell me the closest distributor to Sigri?

Thanks in advance.

don't cut anything yet

dismantle the switch

once you have removed the little hold out toggle you will might discover a rubber bulb with the default out position as engine running

on the Honda I had, I epoxied the remains of the switch back into place and just pressing the bulb killed the engine

it is itself a fine little stop button

then some batard nicked the engine

Usually kill switches make to stop. Therefore disconnect it and insulate the wires . Also check the wires are not shorting anywhere else One is grounded any way. Check the other one.

I tried the dealer locator on the website but it was all Greek to me.

One side of the wiring will be connected to the casing of the engine this shorts out the ignition when the switch is made.
