Key start switch

It looks as if the switch uses the european DIN 72552 codes; 15 is +ve supply, 30 is diesel pre-heat, 50 is the starter motor control. That would make 75 "radio and cigar lighter". What exactly that does would depend on the particular switch, but I'd expect it to go live as soon as the switch is turned. If everything there is engine related, I'll guess oil pressure and temparture alarms. Why not just disconnect them and see what doesn't happen?

Many thanks, spot on. During the course of the day I have traced the other end to a switch and two redundant red lights from there it went to a disconnected wire in the engine bay. Explains why I have one engine alarms! Another job! Many thanks for the confirmation.
