I've been reading this thread on and off and find I am not a minority of one, but still part of a small minority.
I really cannot be bothered watching any sailing videos, I'm bored to tears. But I really have little interest in watching most sport on television. I'd rather be out there sailing, not watching someone else. Rather than watch videos I find I have plenty of other diversions - without 'being' entertained (and Australian TV is not part of entertainment!).
But then I have always wondered of the popularity of Go-Pros - great feats of technology (the cameras) but I do have to wonder who watches the product.
Maybe its one of my personality defects.
However - I have made 'instructional' video and I have a slight appreciation of the effort he might have put into filming and the incredibly efforts needed to edit. People enjoy his work, obviously - all credit to him. But not for me. I have looked at a few minutes of Dylan's work and lost interest, I have watched, maybe 3, of Halcyon's videos right through - that's it.
