Recently had the valve clearance checked and adjusted and the VP dealer had the devil's own job with the "gasket in a tube" when refitting the right Coker covers
Oil seeing out when under load at speed
Now seems to be sorted but is there any reason a paper or cork gasket could be used?.

Gasket has been out of production for many years. Its easy to get it right as I have posted previously. Clean surfaces thoroughly, apply a bead of sealant making sure its proud of the land around the bolt holes that the cover sits on, and let it almost dry so it doesn’t squeeze out. Apply an extra layer to the rear half of the cover as this is usually lower and oil pools and then seeps out near the turbo. CAREFULLY manouver the cover into place avoiding scraping the sealant bead off and lower vertically and tighten down. I know this is foolproof as I have done it this way on dozens of 44’s and 300`s and never had a leak, its the absolutely last thing you want as its a LOT of unnecessary work if it does leak.
