I have sunseeker with 2 KAD44,s both engines running at 95-100 degs, tried the obvious, its in the med, is there a chance the intakes could be slightly blocked on the legs? PLEEEESE

In the Med there is a very high chance that the intake might be blocked. Lift the legs and scrub around the quite small water intake ports. If that doesn't work, you'll have to work you way around the cooling system a bit at a time. Should run at around 85°C give or take a few degrees.

Could be any of the following:-

- blocked water intakes
-worn impeller
-blocked heat exchanger (when my d4 starts to run hot,its always due to blocked heat exchanger - needs unblocking every 3 ish years)
-faulty thermostat
-kinked or blocked hose.

My money is on the heat exchanger

I would check the readings with an IR gun before you start. Corrosion can increase the readings. Iearned this the hard way.

This is good advice .
I had 96 with a kad300 ,
IR gun said 86 - hmm
Turned out ver d Gris on the guage spades under the dash .
Emmery paper / WD 40 —- back reading 86 .
Corrosion of any contacts - sender / harness / gauge spades = inc resistance- and it reads high

my KAMD temp gauges read 8 degs high - I will try cleaning the gauge and sender contacts. cheers
