Hi,

On a KAD32P, the magnetic clutch for the compressor, engages at start-up to assist with warm-up (apparently) Can anyone tell me if this is for a set period of time, or dependant upon the engine coming up to a set temperature?
Mine seems to maintain the power to the clutch permanently? Wondering if the Rotation Speed Relay is faulty?
Many thanks

The clutch does not engage until engine speed reaches approx 1500rpm.
It does not engage to assist with warm up so you have a fault.

No it doesn’t , only the 44and 300 , cuts out when engine reaches 40 deg c and when gear engaged .
If your clutch is running at idle cold you have an electrical problem or a seized clutch .
Do not run at high rpm with the clutch engaged.
Pull the plug off when running to find out what happens that will tell you what the fault is.
