First post on the forum so I am hoping you all can help.
Recently we took possession of our Sealine F33 with Volvo KAD32 engines. On the first trip out after the survey around the 12knot mark the port engine warning light comes on, once you bring the revs down the warning light does go off. We also noticed a lack of RPM when the warning light came on - is this normal (safe mode)?
We have had the following work completed to resolve the issue with no success
-Change all the engine belts
-Recent impeller change
-Oil levels are good from a recent oil change
-Filters are clean
-Throttle cable change (maintenance service change)
The engine temperature in both engines when the warning light comes on is 90 so it doesn’t seem to be overheating.
We feel it could be a sensor/wiring issue, does anyone know anything else we can check to resolve the issue?
Many thanks in advance for any comments
