Kad32 seal

Hi,
Im after the two sealing rings for the raw water pump that has started dripping. Various places online selling them but I was after the size or an equivalent so not paying through the nose for something that costs next to nothing! Part numbers 827247
Can't get down the boat until the weekend to pull it apart so handy if anyone knows.

If it's the seal Im thinking of that stops a drip through a small hole on the side of the pump - you will need to take it to a factor's as the oem one does not have the seal sizes on it
As a side note the internal hole appears to be coned like.

That's the one. Rito, well I've found a couple reasonably cheap so if there are no numbers on it I'll get those and see if I can sniff out something that matches for future drips..

I think by the time anyone has travelled to a factors etc it would be far cheaper to pay £8 for the oem seal and given how old the engine is the original has done well

I bought a brand new KAD32 back in the day and the seal started leaking within 6 months. The spring had completely rusted away. Bought non-volvo seal with a stainless spring and it lasted util I sold the boat a few years later. Unless Volvo have changed the part, this is one case where I would definitely not buy OEM

Well after a bit of searching they are available pretty cheap but with postage the first ones I was looking at were close to £30 ,must be for 'special' people like yaself with cash to burn

Not much price increase from what I paid a couple of years ago from keyparts - repower maybe slightly cheaper.
Not bad for a special person.
Don't get me wrong some items from volvo are ridiculously priced and I will source an alternative but in some cases its not worth it
