KAD32 Low Power and RPM

Just a quick update. We checked the turbo, replaced the fuel lines and did a sea trail today. Same issue as before. Fine up to 2000rpm slow climb to 2500rpm. Next step is to by pass the fuel system all together, unless anyone else has any suggestions.

Did you replace the fuel filters? I've had a similar issue on my ad31p-a, which I believe is the same base engine. It was fixed by replacing the fuel filters.

We had an S23 with a similar problem. The massive speed drop was caused by fouling.

Could well be fouling. Our Cranchi 39 topped out at 18 knots after a winter of inactivity. When lifted, the fouling was massive. Cleaned and antifouled and back to 32 knots.

Turns out she was just well over propped. For some reason the previous owner fitted a j10, should of been an a4. Changed the prop and boom off she went.

Yeah...that would do it ! Nice one..glad you got her sorted.

I had a similar problem in d4. If the problem is in the turbo path, check the map sensor. If it is in the fuel direction, check the rail sensor or the mrop sensor on the fuel pump.
