Volvo Penta Exploded view / schematic Induction and Exhaust Manifold: A KAD300-A, KAMD300-A - MarinePartsEurope.com

Items 19 on my exhaust manifold is actually a sensor. I presume this is the coolant temp sensor as it appears to probe into the coolant?

Funny, Item 19 mentioned above is a 'stop cock' - There is a drain on my manifold (for coolant) pointing out to the starboard side (so in the diagram above, it's facing you).

Nothing wrong, but would like to know if I have some sort of special KAD300 or if my revision just isin't on the marinepartseurope site.

The alarm overheat is rear of manifold underside

That explains it, thanks VP! I'm just after posting another thread, think it could be leaking (probably should have just added it to this thread).

For anyone who may ever need to replace this sensor, the OE seems to be: VDO 805/38/1 (Max. 150 degree C)
