KAD 44 turbo removal / rebuild

Having had both turbos inspected and tested with a pressure gauge both are showing signs of wear
I think both are original so 16yrs old and 650hrs
what are the tip falls in removing them myself and can any one recommend a turbo rebuild company ? Or should I purchase new units....

Quite straight forward to remove, make sure you drain coolant first, send to Midland Turbos, they always do a good job.

If the main housing is worn then there scrap, they will tell you if they are.

Approx £1300 for exchange unit.

I paid 800 € ex vat new at a turbo shop for the original KKK turbo without the green paint. Worth considering.
