Hi All,
One for the VP experts. I have a problem with my T40's EDC control. One engine started giving me trouble with not shifting into gear. I ran a reset procedure which did not appear to work but when motering home on one engine the other started shifting again. Was fine a weekend later but when taking the boat out the water no shifting and no engine start. After acknowledging the alarm the engine start OK but I think the actuator is stuck in forward. (boat out of the water now) Is there anythink I can check before getting the pro's involved. The error code is 5.4 which indicates a short circuit. Would be interesting if I need to read this as a real short in the wiring or this is just a generic description.
