KAD 44 EDC control

i have this for the cable control:

the item marked 2 is likely to be in the engine room ?
or is it to be found by the helm station ?

and where would i find the PCU ?

This was the cheap way to eliminate the shift actuator .
What’s the issue?

If your boat is a single helm boat there is no HCU as the is no need for memory for upper control .
Pcu is in loom probably behind dash .

Shift is stiff, i cant see how to lube it. Wondered if i should find the other end and lube that.
