hi folks..i need a new battery for starting. problom is the label on the old batt has perished so i cant read the ampage required.....advice please. .....thanks all....

My VP Owners Manual states a 140Ah battery for starting, however my S28 has 85Ah that were factory fitted and to date have not had any problems - should I have written that!!

Just as important to make sure that it is same size and terminal posts in same place, otherwise can be a right pain getting cables on?

I think the spec for the S23 is 75 AH starter with a 115 for the domestic

My S24 has a Elecsol 100amp for the engine, but can't remember what I had orginally. However the reason I went for the Elecsol, it was lighter by about 5kg compared to the orginal sealine installed battery. I think it was orginally rated at 85amps.

If you replace both batteries (Domestic & Engine) on the S24 with Elecsol you will save about 10/11kg of weight and have more AMPS available.
