A very big thank you to all that have helped
It's a pity it had to be at the expense of Sirenia sinking, but Clive, having looked her over on Friday night I'm confident she'll be back on the water soon.
But some may have noticed I've been a bit quiet lately. To be honest, we have been totally stunned by everyone. Thanks to the generosity of East coast boaters, with equipment, advice and offers of help even from some parts of the country that aren't even East coasters, we now have just about everything needed to move Sixpence to the Deben, and get some sailing in this season. Might even stay in that area if things keep improving.
With a bit of luck I should be able to get everything working and in place by the end of the week, then we're doing the VHF/DSC course on Saturday, because that's when it's booked for. After that I just need a couple of personal things to drop into place and I'm off.

Something a little more personal will be going out to you all in time, but just wanted to make public the level of support and help we have had here, I'm suitably gobsmacked, and that doesn't happen often /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
