Claysie, I entirely agree. The East Coast has been done to death in the mags.
Lets face it, you are already sailing here due to your proximity to the place , or you are sailing somewhere else due to your proximity to a different place.
We dont want the place anymore crowded than it is, and the rest of the dear readers dont want to come here because of the lack of water at least twice a day.

Thats settled then, no more swatchblastedways please.

Would welcome an article on cruising the Irish sea and Scotland's isles

Suggested ideas

Northwales
''The shipwreck coastline explored''

In fact anything that will discourage people from finding out about it would be good /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I love that! Don't forget the 33' (11m) tides, overfalls, shifting sandbanks, drying harbours and iron bound lee shores. Even Nelson reckoned the Irish Sea was the most dangerous place he ever sailed.

Can't be possible that this person comes from Sussex. He's quite obviously from Coatbridge, as he is imbibing in the local wine of choice....

Dear God no no no

You can't start sending poor innocent Southerners to places like that.

The natives are revolting

And the 8 knot tides and overfalls and charts redrawn weekly.

And rocks and tide races and swirls and eddys

And its cold, occasionally in July the temp rises above freezing and the rain eases. A little

Nothing to eat but tripe and pork pies, not even Fray Bentos

Place is infested with ferrets and whippets.

No No No best they stay where its nice and safe - down south

Dreadful place oop north, don't know how I put up with it.
