JRC 1000 Radar

Evening all,

I have a JRC 1000 Radar which has decided not to work. It is powered up and the screen is completely blank.

I understand this model has a track record for being temperamental. Has anybody else had similar problems? When it works it is great.

My Sealine 260 had one of those. As you say, goodwhen they work. Intermittant problems could be a poor connection at the data socket.

After countdown, and tx, can you hear the scanner going round?? if not then it may need cleaning and regreasing at the spindle. If the scanner is gong round then I pass.
