This applies mainly to those outside the UK who can still buy Jotun Seaforce.

They have changed the mix and what used to be Seaforce 30 is now Seaforce 30M. It turns pink and barnacles and weed, which never appeared on the old 30, just seem to love it:disgust:

I wonder what that stuff John's been peddling is made of, it was supposed to be Jotun.

Hi,

I am loath to recommend any antifoul as its a bit like discussing the "Holy Grail" everyone has their favourits.
Based on the Algarve,I have used International Micron for many years, but last two lifouts have used EU45, originally for economic reasons but have been very happy with the product, after two years in the water, twice, it has kept off the barnacles and washed down well, on the other hand International did not keep off the barnacles and washed away with the pressure wash

Its half the price and I like it, I have no connection with the supplier other than a satisfied customer.

Regards,

Hugh

I get it direct from Jotun Iberia, not via pirate John.

Sandy, I think the 20L tin you have may be from the previous batch, if no "M" after the 30, then it's the good stuff.

It is 30 M. Not worried about it. Will use it & see how it goes.
