Joint Ownership

Re: Nearly Half Way

Yep, I'd buy a share, so that makes 15. Another 10 to go at £1200 and we have a deal.

Claymore, a few questions:
- After you and I, who has the next choice of their two weeks?
- Are you going to be chief administrator of everything?
- How much do you suggest we all put into the pot for a new lick of A/F etc?

All this is assuming that someone doesn't go and ruin your plan by buying Stingo outright?

That sounds good. We still need another 10 buyers first though.

Actually, 16 is enough, as we do have to avoid the worst of the hurricane season, no?
So 16 = 32 weeks, sounds good to me. Just ups the price to a crack under 2 grand a piece.

Dilemma Stingo

I once worked a shift pattern where I had Mon-Tuesday off one week then Tuesday -Wed the next and so on.
Do you think that a rolling programme of say 1st 2 weeks in May in Yr1 then 2nd two weeks in May Yr 2 etc would work?

Regarding the Antifoul - I had assumed that it would be done for this year?

Admin was never my strongest suit - pity we don't have a woman interested in a share as they are usually quite good at that sort of thing.

Full-circle is concerning me a bit - going for the fewer owners, larger chip-in amount. I haven't floated this past Dear Heart yet but know from previous experience that 1K would be an easier proposition to sell than a 2K one.

Claysie,
I have a PDF of a Caribbean Timeshare proposition. With a bit of Photoshopping and nicking photos from Stingo.co.XX, and a few key phrases changed, we should be able to present the 2k as an absolute bargain, reduced from, err, say, 10k?
Of course, you could share your share and thus become 0.5 of a 16th. Hmm.
Might even give you a discount on the cost of full width antifouling rollers.

Must admit, the admin issue is a bit tricky. Having seen the quality of the posting round here, especially getting into the boittle opening hours, I think the od eror wud creep in.

As Louise takes care of the admin side here at Trevera Towers , and avoids any boitttle open posting times I suppose I could join the contributors and opt in , allowing the female element to take over all administration duties of course , though Rutland Water has little appeal

Yep, a rolling program sounds good.

I also like FullCircle's idea of only 16 owners at say £1900 each. That way DearHeart won't be put off by £2000.

The spare 20 weeks could be hired off to fellow forumites for say £500 per week, which is probably very cheap of a 39 footer in the Carib, giving our syndicate a possible £10k per year for maintenance and upgrades.

How does that tickle your wallet?
