I have this old Johnson 2hp from 1978 that I want to fit an electronic module to. Is this motor a positive earth or negative earth?

negative or positive ? dunno, not a question I have seen asked previously.

Thanks for the replies. Vic the unit is to replace the condenser and points. Same type of thing fitted to whipper snippers and most small 2 stroke motors. They can be wired for positive earths or negative earths, just checking first.
