All these tributes may be true, but I'm sure I remember reading, somewhere, that he was one of the meanest, most miserable gits you could wish to meet.

Not that I wish to speak ill of the departed..........

I've been watching your adventures on the telly again...I first saw 'em in the early 60s but now they are out again, late at night, on some satellite channel. Bout time you married than nice Miss Purity at the Jamaica Inn.
