I am looking for a boat that can tolerate a half-tide end-to-end mud mooring, is suitable for young family cruising at the weekend and holidays, and can be taken out for some single/double handed long distance racing ie, The Triangle. Budget is an issue, and for those that know the area, I am planning to moor her at Wivenhoe.
The boat that I am considering is the Jeanneau Sun 2500 and I would like to hear from anyone that has experience of these boats on the East Coast or with similar boats in similar situations. I would especially like to hear from anyone that keeps a 2500 on a mud mooring.
Thank you,
EastCoastConvert.
