Jeanneau Leader 9 with D3-200

Considering a 2012 leader 9 with Volvo d3-200 engines.

Looking for opinions / advice on the boat and specifically the engines.

look at similar with outboards, easier to service, can tilt the whole lot out of the water

Hi, I have single 2012 d3 200hp engine in my boat (repowered from twin petrols) with sx a duo prop stern drive. Owned for almost 5 years. Very impressed with it, decent fuel economy and power. Had the cambelt done last year which required engine out for access. Always serviced correctly, never let me down and have confidence with it. I do oil, all filters, water / alternator belts and impeller change myself. The earlier d3 did have problems which I am told don’t affect the later models. First year of ownership the drive bellows leaked which resulted in expensive drive work! So now I get the bellows every year for piece of mind.
