JB the boat covers guy near Warsash

I dealt with a chap a few years back, is he still operating I think his name was JB, does anyone have contact details for him please
Just had my cover done by him (Jim).

Absolutely delighted. Custom fit to my spec and the details he puts in are brilliant. No hesitation to recommend.

Like all the good one man bands he has a backed up order book though.

You‘re welcome to come and see mine.

Here on a dull wet day. Need fly cover to match next year but old one is still serviceable and last year was a bit spendy.

the curved shape was important to me to give headroom when sat aft. Poles and sockets all sourced by Jim. Lots of test fits required.

Stupid forum software is rotating the pics I don’t know why. If anyone could describe to me how to fix this it would be appreciated.

He is also an expert in making large Royal Navy warship models (nor kits) - he showed me some he had done, and the detail was incredible. Always used Jim for new canopies, the plastic windows were so taut, looked like glass. He also restores old cars - the E TypeJag he fully restored is stunning. I don’t know how he finds the time. There’s a great story of a boat owner calling the marina office at 01.30 to tell them there was someone breaking into the boat next door. The staff shot down there……..to find Jim fitting a new canopy!!

Before the big storm a few weeks ago, given my canopy was just a few weeks old, I mailed to ask him if I should remove and stow it.

Absolutely not was the reply. But knowing I was away he went down and checked the boat just in case.
