I would like to fit some lights to the life jackets on the boat.
Some of them are the manual inflate type and others foam filled.
What type of lights are available? where can I get them? and where would forumites advice fitting them on the jackets,? and how can they be attached?
Greatful for any advice.

Or you might consider a small Maglight (water proof attached on a short lanyard. And stowed in a pocket or with velcro. That way it can be usefull while night sailing for any other purpose. If it is used it means it is often tested.
This does mean the survivor must be conscious and able to direct the flashlight at the boat or rescuer. olewill

PS if you want a strobe you could look at diving equipment suppliers. A lot of divers around here have them attached to the tank for night diving. (a popular sport) olewill (again)

Something like this for under 20 beer tokens, or pop into Aquatron in Stanley Street and see what they have to offer.

Thanks all for your very useful replies and help.
I will be down that way today Cliff and have look to see if they have any of those strobes, which seem good and the cheapest so far.
Cheers, Eamonn.

Thanks guys, bought two from Aquatron yesterday, £19.95 each, which I think is good value.
Will need to buy 5 more though, to equip all my LJkts.
Thanks again.
