I have a HFL generator which has a jabsco impellor type pump for seawater in the cooling system. The generator would not start and an inspection found salt water in the soundproofing box and a rather wet genny. A 12v cable had corroded (hence would not start) and the jabsco pump was leaking at the shaft. I have ordered the parts including seals etc, but has anyone done this job and are there any tips?
