I\'ve had my tool looked at
I've owned a Leaatherman multi-tool for ever, and it was very tatty, with two broken blades, dents from being used as a hammer and some paint spots. So I thought it was probably time to get another, and picked up a brochure. Lo and behold, at the back, it wittered on about a 25 year guarantee. What the heck, I sent mine back saying "'ere mister, it broke." Got a jiffy bag back from them today with something which may or may not be my old Leatherman, in which every blade, tool, etc has been replaced. which is clean, bright and shiny, which has no dents. Free of charge, except for the stamp to send it to them in the first place.
So if you've got a sad old tool corroding gently in the bottom of your sailing bag...
