I've got too much stuff.

I had similar fender storage issues on my Princess V45. Not sure about your set up but I found opening the engine hatch and tying them to the top rung of the access ladder the solution, easily accessible and didn’t prevent me from climbing down if necessary.

Well that might work actually. Or something a bit like it. Though I'd prefer to keep them away from the oily bits (I think that's the technical term).

There's no rail. The aft end of the cockpit has a seat back, and the hatch to a slim low locker...:

Put a rail on the back above the locker door. Use fender hooks for storage. I use these and can recommend them. Bonus is when you are departing and in a bit of a hurry you can chuck them in the tender temporarily once it's up.

Only possible impediment I can see to this is that the seat backrest folds down on a massive stainless hinge structure; the rail might interfete with it.

No, you're trying not to be difficult, but you are. Fusspot! You need something to occupy your thoughts. Did you know Kwakkers, NDB and Colhel are all planing on a cross channel raid to pirate and pilfer a boat? You should go with. It will be an adventure.

Fair point well made :)
