Hi Scala you clearly need a bigger boat ? I have read though that some mobo have support vessels for all the toys. Looks like this weekend might be a bit breezy though in the Solent .

Yes that's an idea. Like this kind of thing we saw in Croatia a couple of years ago...? Support vessel on the R., it was huge. It had a Wally 110 as a tender.The Mother ship is Pelorus.

Hi I remember sailing up the river in Croatia to see the waterfalls and being followed by something like that . Closed the decent restaurant for the night for the owner as well. If you buy a bigger boat don’t forget to tell hamble to dredge the channel more like the owner did in Antibes.

Yes we went up there too. Biggest one in at that time was half the size of the Pelorus support ship.

EDIT - you’re right - it isn’t Dilbar - Dilbar is a lot bigger... apologies.
I recognise that.... isn’t that Dilbar? Actually it’s Dilbar two? I would struggle getting that into Swansea btw (but I would have room for the fenders.....)
This is very often in Barcelona at the beginning of the year.

There were two Dilbars after Pelorus, all three built by Lürssen, 2008 / 2015 for the Dilbars and 2003 for Pelorus, so if anything Pelorus is the progenitor. A beautiful thing, even close up.

They are beautiful. We’ve walked alongside Dilbar many times. A friend of mine who used to be on this group has been to parties onboard.

'S' Hooks......hook over the side rail and one each end of the fender, and they hang horizontally under the rail.....Simples !

If they had some sort of “clip” function as I would be concerned that they could jump off.
Each end having a different length for different height placement
