It's good to get out and take in some waves. Swinging on the hook tonight. First a swim, BBQ and slumber in this balmy weather.

Very envious!
Sold last year and currently boatless - the journey to our next boat is proving to be somewhat vexed and might end up with sails!![]()

Hope you have a long warm boating season ahead N, OF is looking good out there in her natural environment.
Any thoughts of a long cruise coming up? Your trip reports are a fantastic read :encouragement:
You certainly know how to create an appealing boating story with a few well shot pics and associated descriptions. I even felt inspired to google map your cruise grounds, it's been a while since your last report via the Atlantic coast.
BTW, our little island home is very similar in size to the ROI, similar mid to high 20's temp in summer, but very little summer rain.
Besides yourself promoting the ideallic boating lifestyle in the ROI, Scubaman in the Baltic/Finland and Henryf, whether onboard his cruiseship or south coast UK and MapisM around IT, there's some serious talent out there!
All the best Noel.

Great pics Noel and OF looks great.
A Broom 38 was our original plan and nearly bought a 39kl as you know but now really not sure - fuel price outlook may mean a motor sailer or a yacht for a bit of Med sailing. Still get tempted whenever I see a 38 though!![]()
Cheers Greg. When the sea state is nice we often plod along at 6-7kt displacement speed burning only 2gph, but she is still only 10ghp planing at an economic 16kt which is fast enough for even the longest one day passage leg. We've never had to cruise at the higher speeds of 18-22kt, nor WOT at 26kt.
On balmy hot days if time permits we potter along at only 5kt which is ultra quiet and comfy on the auto helm and potter about the boat like we are at home. Noel
