Its been a long time coming but....NEW BOAT

Well pleased for you. She looks in absolutely tip-top condition. Rarely have I seen an engine space as clean as that.

About time you had some good luck.

6 years without a boat ! I don't think I could have done that.
I also quite like gloss cherry woodwork.............. and the very clean engine bay.

Many congratulations on the new boat! She looks very clean and nice, the engine bay is spotless. Which engines she has btw? Also, and I hope you pardon me my ignorance, but what are the dual raw water intakes for (I haven't seen those before)? Aircon/genny?

Dual intakes are probably as emergency bilge pumps ... so that raw water pump for engines can be switched to drawing water from the bilges ...

LOL, didn't the previous comments on their sound ring a bell?
Over the Pond, some hardcore diesel fans call it "the sound of freedom"... :D

Re. dual intakes, I suppose Alf got it right, considering also the valves which I seem to see both on the T-joint and on the lower pipe.

Many Congratulations Jez, I know its been a long time coming but looks very worth the wait. Just seems that somebody has put the lower helm on the wrong side !!:):)

Very nice, if you like that kind of thing! :D

I gather from Jimmy's post you're looking to keep her in Sant Carles? That's where my Mum's from (and still is there, has a nice bar ;) ). Gimme a shout if you need anything sorted, if I don't know it, Mum (who does speak English) can usually get you in touch with the right person.

Excellent choise. The Ferretti 150 Fly was the eye opener for me that led to the purchase of a Ferretti 480 in May this year. I spent a week last year on a friends 150 Fly in Croatia and I was particulary impressed by the comfort and stability of this great boat. Enjoy her!
