Just spent 2.5 hours feeding a single bit of hose cos the old one was too short ... aaargh!

Same footprint doesn't equate to straight swap! Hoses are in different place which gave me a problem. Now fully installed and functional! Took lot longer than I thought owing to needing longer hoses on intake side and having to reposition outlet hose. Seems to work well though

Here's one I took with my phone
The loo is slightly taller than the old. I used to have the pump handle on the left as you look at the image.
The water comes in from raw through the pumpguard and back to the back of the base of the unit, it then comes out the unit above that goes up to the vented loop then back down to the rinse. The waste outlet is on a flexible hose at the back , I had to move it further to the right to stop it getting too squashed. The 3 raw water orifices on the LITE are in the centre at the rear of the unit, the waste is on the left but comes with a long flexible hose joint.

Ah that is brilliant, I've got a bit more space round the back of the loo as there isn't a moulding, and it's a right hand pump so it looks as if it should go in with minimal butchery....famous last words.

We are experiencing ongoing issues with the Jabsco Lite. It's a thing of wonder and delight and I think we'll be putting one in the aft cabin en suite as well - but it's problematic on emptying, SWMBO replaced the joker valve and it still needs help after a No2. Time to call Jabsco.

)There is a tendancy for a build up of scale, which reduces the capacity to transport more solid waste <ahem>

I bung hydrochloric acid down the loo to deal with the scale, I presume one can pour Hydrochloric acid down a Lite as well?

Outlet pipes are clear, phoned Jabsco and they think it's a foreign object between the pump and the joker - so more fun for SWMBO - I do the electrics, she does the plumbing and we both reckon we got the best part of the deal.

The words vacuum and heads make me think of Blakes Lavac and shudder. Probably the worst invention ever. Probably only invented to force males to put the seat down. I broke the lid of my Lavac by sitting down to hard on it when hit by a wave. Had to araldite it back together to get it working again. A couple of months later the break re-occurred and I had to re-araldite it, which so far is holding up. I would like to replace it with a Jabsco which I have used before and much prefer.
