Just had a call from Bridgemarsh. It is the plan to get my Radome nailed onto the front of the mast, and to have the stick up tomorrow
Hurrah, then I can check assemble the rest of the string over the weekend and test the new radar/windsensor.

This means I am going in the water next week, so I had better get the antifoul done this weekend. Not to mention screwing the innards of the ship back in their correct locations.

We have new shiny keel bolts now, and compartmentalised bilges, all a lovely shade of white, rather than rust and mud.

About time too. Lazy git I am .

FC are you having a clever self-levelling device for the radar, as befits a proper sailor, or does Mrs FC keep you on the straight and level ?

If Mrs FC could invent the non heeling, self levelling yacht, I can assure you we would have one by now. She does, most thankfully, keep me on the straight and narrow. Actually, in 2 weeks time approx, for the last 10 years.

The weather meant that planned stick up did not happen, so will not happen until tuesday now. Have ordered that the boat is launched same time, can't wait anymore.
