do any of the learned solent area members know if itchenor slipway is ok to use with a normal 2 wheel drive saloon? if not any suggestions in the area?

Its a "hard" . probably the best in the area. Quite large, with a very shallow gradient . Not near any rubbish tip that I am aware of.

Dell Quay not bad either but much smaller and half tide only

Emsworth another possiblity but not used it personally

If time is on your side Chichester Marina has a very good purpose built slip.

As has been said Itchenor has a very shallow gradient but should be ok at high tide.
 
+1 for Chichester Marina slip. We launched and recovered our Searay 215 there on numerous occasions. Launching in to a locked marina too so no tides or currents to worry about.

Unless my memory is playing tricks it's better at low tide because the slip drops away faster so you don't need the long rope.
