So off I went for a spin.

Leaving the Mooring

Once I'd cleaned off the bird poo - off I go! Rocky Island to port (Once a gunpowder store for the Naval Base - now a crematorium!)

On The Way in

The Orange building is a Pub - good food. The Depth Sounder started to read 2ft soon after this and the tide was on the way out so I decided to make a run for Oysterhaven (I'd missed cleaning the deck hatch, you can see how much poo had "landed" in a week!)

I noticed this on the way out though - must call back another day and take a nose

There's a Hotel on the hill here above the moorings - this is looking due West on the Western Channel

On the way back out - Big Sovereign in the Distance

A bit closer to Big Sovereign - The Old Head of Kinsale in the background

Cobh looked good on the way past

Who can guess what this building is??? (Locals not allowed in this competition)

Heading back to the mooring in Monkstown.

Nope,

I'm not even sure if that service is available here - I've never heard of it.

Just the "Mark I" right hand and a computer Mouse ;-)
