Typical....

Get to the boat this morning and

1) Bilge pump running, and
2) Chartplotter not working, and
3) Carpet on cabin sole soaking wet.

( Rude word removed ) boats!

No 1 is especially interesting as the boat lives on a dry stack.............. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Float switch is jammed in the open position. It cant have been like if for long, otherwise the battery would be flat ( and the pump burnt out ) so must have happened when it was lifted off the stack. It is, of course in the most inaccessable position....

CP does not work cos its not getting any power......time for the multi-meter methinks....

Carpet wet cos the hatch has developed a leak during our glorious summer....

Bloody weather!!!

Ah! Three separate problems. Thought they were related, which could indicate a bigger problem.

Down to a bit of fettling and routine self servicing methinks.

Which reminds me, I have to get some Sikaflex and replace the seams around boat where Sikaflex has perished.
